The downstairs lounge and kitchen areas of the club are scheduled to be professionally painted on Wed and Thurs December 17-18, so those rooms will be unavailable for our use on those days. Please plan accordingly, i.e. use the upstairs space for briefing etc. We will try to leave some access to the refrigerator but all of the kitchen and lounge will be cleared of furnishings etc. to allow the painters access. Perhaps we can set up the microwave somewhere temporarily useful.
Note that the Annual meeting and pizza extravaganza is December 16 at 6:30pm, so just prior to that will be a fabulous opportunity to get some volunteer credit by helping to move out, (or to the center of the room for a few large pieces), all of the kitchen and lounge furniture and other items, take down the artwork, etc. I'll show up about 4pm to get started so if you can help, please come to the club early and lend a hand. I'll be passing out volunteer credit like a Macy's Santa passing out candy canes. 🛩️🛩️
You didn't really think you were going to get free pizza without helping someone move, did you? 😜 Presuming that the painters finish as scheduled, we will most likely move everything back late Thurs Dec 18 or early on Friday Dec 19, so if you can help then that would also be appreciated. We will communicate a time for that a little later when we see how the project progresses.
